Devil's Tongue - This pepper was developed by an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania during the 1990's. It was discovered growing in his field of habaneros. The name given for this pepper and its exact origins are unknown. Devil's Tongue is similar to Fatalii color and shape, but has smoother skin, is slightly smaller and packs a lot more heat!
Pods are 2" long and 1" wide with smooth golden yellow skin. Plants is an abundant producer of fruity tasting chiles with maximum heat. Capsicum annuum (110 days)

In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart or into large 5 gallon containers. Harvest peppers when they are yellow and full size.
